The number of days, on average, that suppliers finance a company. It is calculated by dividing the supplier account balance by the net sales figure and multiplying it by 365 days. If the value added is very high, the sales figure at cost price is sometimes used, although this is not usual because it is preferred to compare with the average collection and maturity period.
